A student project with big ambitions
The aim of Kickchain: To issue tokens in limited numbers for each partner club, which would then be bought and resold by fans. Depending on the number of tokens owned, the fan would have had access to numerous advantages in his club.
Having been set up just before the Covid-19 crisis, the project was unfortunately halted because of it.
A company dreamed up during a hackathon
An ambitious, award-winning final-year project
Kickchain was thought up by a team of 6 2nd year Epitech developers, during the Monaco International Blockchain, which they won by the way.
Initially imagined as a collection system thanks to NFTs, the project has taken a major turn by offering clubs of all sizes a new source of income.
The speculative side of Kickchain
Massive source of income
When issued, tokens belong to the club. The club can choose to sell all or part of them to increase its cash flow.
Market place
A club token may be in high demand depending on the rewards offered by the clubs, increasing its value.
Cashout possible
Fans can sell tokens they're not interested in, and will even be able to realize a capital gain if their value has increased since purchase.

As a soccer club central to the French sporting landscape, we spent several months talking to OL about integrating Kickchain into their club.
SC Bastia
SC Bastia, a soccer club belonging to the Ligue 2, has shown a definite interest in the possibilities offered by Kickchain.
AS Monaco
The Monaco Football Club sports association was approached to give a presentation of the project.
Epitech
As well as providing places at the hackathon, the school has helped initiate a number of exchanges, including one with Olympique Lyonnais.
